Wenita is committed to implementing and maintaining a comprehensive Environmental Management System across its forest operations.

The company was accredited with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification (SGS-FM/COC-0831) for fulfilling the requirements of a well managed forest for its Otago Coast, Berwick and Mt Allan Forest, in November 2001. FSC accredited certification means that the forest is managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.
