Increased silviculture programme

We are expanding our pruning programme to about 700ha per year, which effectively means 1400ha of pruning operations per year when doing two-lift pruning.
This year we have budgeted for 1000ha of pruning operations with the intention of increasing again next year.
Labour availability is a challenge, and our silviculture contractors are considering options to increase their crew sizes. The thinning programme is also increasing as a result of age-class effects, with about 900ha planned for this year.
