Back in February, the Roxburgh 2 crew finally got to receive a stack of awards for their excellent performance in last year’s Top Spot competition, following a Covid-related delay.
Every member of the crew picked up an award and received some great prizes, including Stihl jackets and a Stihl axe and kit, as well as $500 and $600 Swazi vouchers.
This year’s Top Spot competition kicked off with our silviculture crews receiving their first round of assessments by Mike Bruce in March, while Stan Barlow has just completed the first round of assessments of the harvesting crews. It’s great to see the continual improvement in technical and safety standards that we have experienced from being part of this competition.
