From May 25 to 29, TopSpot silviculture assessor Mike Bruce audited the thinning and pruning crews in Wenita forests.
We are now in the third year of having our silviculture crews in the TopSpot programme. Mike felt the crews were all well organised and most gear was in good condition. Although there are always areas crews need to work on, all the workers are well underway to having a better understanding of what their roles and responsibilities are, and in general their work practices are of a high standard.
The next TopSpot visit is booked for November 2 to 6. Wenita thanks the crews for their positive attitude towards the TopSpot programme.
